Documentation: User Roles and Permissions

The Ability to Create a New User can be found with the “New User” button from within Settings/Users:

After Selecting the “New User” button there are various forms that appear

• 

• Username

• Full Name

• Email Address

• User Access

• User Type (User Type Information Below)

  • Ops (Partner)

    • Select the Partner associated with this user

      • This is a “partner” user

      • Will be able to view Orders icon in the navigation sidebar

      • Will be able to view the Reports icon in the navigation sidebar

      • Will NOT be able to view the settings icon in the navigation sidebar (Unless External Integrations is checked to TRUE)

      • Will be able to view the Legacy icon in the navigation sidebar

  • Line Item Assignee

    • No Partner required

      • This should be an internal Adcellerant employee but isn’t required to be an Admin of Ui.Marketing.

      • Will be able to view line items to which they are assigned

      • Will NOT be able to view the orders icon in the navigation sidebar.

      • Will NOT be able to view the reports icon in the navigation sidebar.

      • Will NOT be able to view the settings icon in the navigation sidebar.

      • Will NOT be able to view the Account Homepage

  • Division

    • Select the Partner associated with this user

    • Select the Division associated with the Partner selected

      • Will be able to view Orders icon in the navigation sidebar

        • Will ONLY be able to view Orders and Line Items that they are followers or requesters on a Line Item

      • Will be able to view the Reports icon in the navigation sidebar

      • Will NOT be able to view the settings icon in the navigation sidebar

      • Will be able to view the Legacy icon in the navigation sidebar

  • Customer

    • Select the Partner associated with this user

    • Select the Division associated with the Partner selected

    • Select the Advertiser associated with the Partner/Division selected

      • Will NOT be able to view Orders icon in the navigation sidebar

      • Will be able to view the Reports icon in the navigation sidebar

      • Will NOT be able to view the settings icon in the navigation sidebar

      • Will NOT be able to view the Legacy icon in the navigation sidebar

      • Will NOT be able to view the Account Homepage

• Save the User

• General Tab

  • Full Name

  • Email Address

  • User Access

  • User Type (User Type Information Below)

• Permissions Tab

  • Ops (Partner)

    • Permissions received when an Ops Partner user is created:

      • Orders

        • Can View Orders within their partner

        • Order Submission - Cannot Create Orders unless permission is checked

      • Line Items

        • Can View Line Items within their partner

      • Proposals

        • Can View Proposals within their division

        • Order Submission - Cannot Create Proposals unless permission is checked

        • Cannot make custom CPM unless permission is checked

        • Cannot change requestor unless permission is checked

      • Reports

        • Can View Reports for Advertisers within their Division

  • Line Item Assignee

    • Permissions received when a Line Item Assignee user is created:

      • Orders

        • Can Only View Line Items that they are assigned to

        • Cannot Create Orders unless permission is checked

      • Proposals

        • Cannot View Proposals

        • Cannot Create Proposals

        • Cannot make custom CPM

        • Cannot change requestor

      • Reports

        • Cannot view reports

  • Division (Division User within a Single Partner)

    • Permissions received when a Division user is created:

      • Orders

        • Can View Orders within their division when they are the requestor or follower on a Line Item within an Order

        • Cannot Create Orders - unless permission is checked

      • Proposals

        • Can View Proposals within their division when they are a requestor or follower on a Line Item within a Proposal

        • Cannot Create Proposals - unless permission is checked

        • Cannot make custom CPM

        • Cannot change requestor

      • Reports

        • Can View Reports for Advertisers within their Division

  • Customer (Advertiser)

    • Permissions received when a Customer user is created:

      • Orders (Hidden from Admins)

        • Cannot View Orders

        • Cannot Create Orders

      • Proposals (Hidden from Admins)

        • Cannot View Proposals

        • Cannot Create Proposals

        • Cannot make custom CPM

        • Cannot change requestor

      • Reports

        • Can View Reports for Advertisers within their Division
