Enterprise Data Sharing (EDS)
Enterprise Data Sharing (EDS) is a way for us to share raw reporting data with our partners if they are utilizing another reporting platform outside of Ui.Marketing.
Table of Contents
Overview
What
Enterprise Data Sharing (EDS) lets our business customers access their UI.Marketing data directly in their own reporting tools, like Google Data Studio or Looker. This means they can run custom reports, analyze campaign performance, and get deeper insights using the platforms they prefer. Access to data is secure and limited based on their pricing plan, ensuring they only see information related to their own accounts. This feature helps customers get more value from our data while giving us new opportunities to grow revenue.
Who
This feature serves customers and partners who use UI.Marketing but want to analyze their data in their own business intelligence (BI) platforms outside of UI.Marketing. It helps data analysts, marketing teams, and business decision-makers who need advanced, customized reporting and insights beyond what the standard UI.Marketing platform offers.
Why
We built this feature because many of our customers/partners wanted more flexibility to analyze their marketing data using their own preferred BI tools, like Google Data Studio or Looker, instead of being limited to the UI.Marketing platform. This request came primarily from partners and data-driven marketing teams who need advanced, customized reporting and deeper insights to make better business decisions.
By providing secure, controlled access to raw data, we not only meet these customer demands but also open new opportunities for revenue growth and enhance the overall value of our platform.
Example
Imagine a marketing analyst at a large retail partner who uses UI.Marketing for campaign management but prefers TapClicks, Looker Studio, NinjaCat, etc for their reporting. With Enterprise Data Sharing, they can connect their TapClicks directly to the UI.Marketing data warehouse. This lets them create customized dashboards that combine UI.Marketing campaign data with other internal sales and reporting data — all in one place. They can quickly run ad-hoc analyses, track campaign performance, and share insights with their team without needing to export or manually manipulate data. This saves time and helps them make smarter marketing decisions faster.
