Welcome to the troubleshooting guide for Tableau pacing issues! Tableau is a powerful tool for data visualization, but sometimes you may run into problems with line items or data missing from your reports. Below are some tips to help you navigate through them effectively.

  1. Start and End Dates:

    • Ensure that the start and end dates are correct in Ui.Marketing and align with the campaign’s intended timeframe.

Pro tip! Double-check that the correct year is entered. It's a common oversight that can result in missing data.

  1. Ui.Marketing and DSP Start Dates:

    • Verify whether the start dates in Ui.Marketing and the Demand Side Platform (DSP) match (TTD, SA, FB, etc). Inconsistent start dates can cause discrepancies in the data. Aligning these dates ensures accurate reporting and analysis.

  2. Allocation Updates:

    • Check if the allocations have been updated recently and are entered for each month that the campaign is live.

  3. Integration within UI:

    • Ensure that the campaign/advertiser is integrated within Ui.Marketing. If the campaign has been integrated, has it been 24 hours since then? If not, we will need to wait 24 hours to see data start to come in.

  4. Filter Setup:

    • Review the filters applied to your Tableau dashboard or worksheet. Filters can exclude certain data from being displayed. Check if any filters are active and adjust them as needed to ensure all relevant data is included in your analysis.

  5. Facebook Ads:

    • Specifically for Facebook data, confirm whether Reagan Smith has been added to the ad account. Access to the ad account is crucial for retrieving Facebook data for analysis in Tableau. After adding Reagan, please wait 24 hours for data to populate in Tableau.

  6. TikTok Ads

    1. Specifically for Facebook data, confirm whether Erik Lodermeier has been added to the ad account. Access to the ad account is crucial for retrieving TikTok data for analysis in Tableau. After adding Erik, please wait 24 hours for data to populate in Tableau.

By following these troubleshooting tips, you can effectively identify and resolve common Tableau issues. If you encounter any persistent problems or need further assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to the Support team for additional help. Happy analyzing! 📈
